Bunny Boy

he pays no mind
to weathered woes
to cloud’s in tow
of labor saving ‘vices

the ones that threat
to circumvent
a woman’s plan
of some productive plane

he frolics here and there
around the square
of green, green lawn
a growing
filled with joy
and pleasant ploy,
in hopping madness
playing

a black and white
long-eared sprite
of hare-y fine
appealing

t’the other,
I’m no spring pup!
