I just want to say that the 'Rise Above' philosophy is just my own thoughts, and I wrote this mainly to help myself grow, as a person. If it helps someone else out there, then I am very happy indeed! We can all 'Rise Above', but it's easier when we know we're not alone...  Never mind what’s going on In your life, if it is wrong Deep inside the truth comes through You will feel it Whether thoughts or whether deeds Be it yours or other’s needs You will know When things feel out of place to you... You can fight, or you can cry You can question how and why But you know the answer lies Within your heart Though it’s hard to face what’s real And sometimes it seems to feel Like the world you know Is breaking all apart... Then Rise Above Spread your wings It’s time to fly Within the power waits to be set free Just Rise Above Reach out to touch the sky You’ll find your fears grow smaller When your soul can rise above... Music washes away from the soul the dust of everyday life |
