GG*  in Thoughts

She reminds me
of what strength hides within,
as darkness settles and the air
becomes heavy, pushing me back
to a tired state.

To rise each morning,
start the day with promise
believe in myself and know that time,
although limiting for now,
is infinite in its caring.

Life cycles, and after the mourning
comes a rebirth.

Oh Maureen,
you have no idea how much this means to me today. I'd been bound mostly to the bed since Sunday, unable to walk, or to move much at all for that matter. Got behind on housework and schoolwork. Then last night I started to be able to move a little more and so I was up trying to catch up on things... didn't even get five minutes of sleep. While I watched the sun rise I knew I was about to have to face another day trying to make up for my best not being enough. Not saying all of that for any kind of sympathy, but just to let you know how much these words give me some hope and brighten the whole day for me.
I'm so honored that my words could bring you to write something like this
Thank you, Maureen, for making the day better.
Beautiful...
to you
Always, Alyssa

Infinite in it’s caring
a good line to describe
but for the rebirth part,
I think I’d rather wait that part out a little longer
Transitions are always difficult

Dear Maureen, GG has inspired you beautifully indeed.
You have conferred such precious value to the morning by beginning it with promise and by believing in yourself!
Perfect attitude.
Love and hugs. Margherita

I, too, think she's pretty incredible!
Her strength has entered my thoughts on more than one occasion.

Thanks, Maureen, for your sweet tribute to Alyssa.
