When was the last time
you caught the triology of purples
dancing freely in celebration,
falling asunder from the sky,

or flew with the banner of blackbirds
on the ascention of darkness
in proclamation of the new moon
as she inherits the night,

or joined the gathering of silvergulls
sitting parallel on the rocks of time
to watch history rewrite in
constellations of childhood ryhme,

or winked at the starry-eyed sun
taking its last breath until the
coming of the new morning's rise,

When was the last time
you looked up, my friend
and allowed the setting sun
to perform its nightmagic
before your tired eyes?

I sit outside everynight before retiring, and watch the magic....this was simply stunning, a lovely way to scribe what is in nature, there for our eyes to behold and learn from.
