of Depression

I listen for the voice,
Which with joyful eyes
Looked to me as a choice
To bring her passion's sighs,
I watch for the walk
That in youthful sway
approached me to talk
For all a night and day.
Yet now my vision dim
And ears ring in distraction
So I know I won't be him
That brings glad emotion.

Gloom

This was a sensitive and very tender piece Gloom.  So very full of potentials, the future...being a romantic, I have to say...
why not?
Excellent.

Thought I'd send this one up for a second read.  A "mixture" of gloom and not-so-gloom;
I like this type of yours the best;
