Atop my roof I view the world A tiny spec in giant swirls of matter, gas, and planets alike Atop my roof I feel a breeze The coolness puts myself at ease I've never felt so pure, so real Atop my roof I think of all Surviving on our tiny ball of fire, water, wind and rock Atop my roof I shed a tear In joy, because I hold so dear Life, such a precious thing But at this moment I am just me A peice of this living harmony Finally I set down my pen "Here's to life" I say again and i'm certain that if i drive into those trees, it would make less of a mess, than she's made of me... |

When we get perspective, all things seem to find their proper place. Well done! |

"But at this moment I am just me A piece of this living harmony" This is so regenerating in it's simple truth. Wonderful rendering here. TD |

When I was much younger, I sat upon my rooftop... the rooftop was the 4th floor of a row-type apartment building in the city of Pittsburgh, and even if you wouldn't believe, I had almost the same exact feelings as what you expressed in these words. Enjoyed. |

Atop your roof seemed to me, the perfect place to be. :-) enjoyed the read. We all should have a place atop a roof, even if its not! pictureme :-) |
