Picture by Josephine Wall * * * A mother brings forth life Which is the greatest gift of all She will be your best supporter With her love you will stand tall A mother's heart beats for her children It goes everywhere they go She tells them in so many ways How much she loves them so A mother provides a shelter She will guide you through the storm Her arms will give protection Her love alone will keep you warm A mother's love is priceless She is worth her weight in gold 'tho the years may age her body Her love will never grow old A mother's arms are always open Her love is always by your side She is someone you can count on In her you always can confide A mother can take the place of others But her place no one can take She will stand up for her children 'tho bad decisions they might make A mother lives life for her children She's like the left hand to their right Her love is comforting and inspiring She'll always by a guiding light I am in motion |

Sue, Seems like perfection. The writing and the topic. If tears could build a stairway and memories a lane, I'd walk right up to heaven and bring you home again. |

Nice poem and tribute, but only once a year? Keep up the good writes, and Happy Mother's Day to you! |
