You Are The Gift I Gave Myself you are the best of me and I am yours unconditionally I think that you ride the sun where every color has come undone you teach me things I never knew my greatest respect I give to you when the world disappoints and lets me down not far from me is where you’re found I look at you and see life’s true art never is a time you do not have my heart you are the gift I gave myself a present that took me off the shelf things come and go one after the other but precious is the voice that calls me mother to Brian and Michael to whom this day would not be i love you both...mom |

I LOVE this write... Even though mine are at a distance, and I don't see them often enough, you have reminded me why they are here at all... Great Job. I AM smiling... |

Wow! I never knew what it was to have a mother until I came to this place. You and a few other poets here over the past year have helped me to see what could not be when I was growing up. Thank you! |

Happy Mother's Day, Helen! I am sure it is. Great, great poem another mother understands. |

That's two lucky boys! Awesome... If tears could build a stairway and memories a lane, I'd walk right up to heaven and bring you home again. |
