Longing For A Warm Summer Day |

A bird walks at dawn On top of the snow crust. He knows no self respecting Worm is out in this. But there is hope. Always hope. A dog trots over Cinders in the street. His girlfriend lives down the block She is likely not out this early. But there is hope. Always hope. The sun shines strong Upon the snowbank. It knows it cannot make this Into a warm summer day. But there is hope. Always hope. |

Captured. That bird so clean.... I have seen 'em doing exactly that, and couldn't for the life of me figure out why.... Which reminds me -- it's time for Orange County Snow.....our street is planted with ornamental pear trees, and they're all totally white...the little round petals just starting to fall. Soon the ground will be blanketed with them.....as close to snow as we get here. ~~(¸¸¸¸ºº> ~~(¸¸¸¸ºº> ~~(¸¸ ¸¸ºº> ~~~(¸¸ER¸¸ºº> |

Very lovely! Hope here is very efficiently rendered. Here we have a very sunny day and everybody is talking about Spring being early. Be patient! Love, Margherita |

Hope... in spite of all evidence to the contrary, some spark sustains us... for just maybe... *S* I like this very much! *S* |

dingusjr, Your poem really is upbeat. This is a great boost to beat the February, mid winter blahs. Very nicely written, dingusjr. Sadie |

(does happy hope dance) Yay! Oh Larry, we have plenty of warm days in the heart of winter here in Colorado, sometimes even as warm as 75 to 80 degrees, so hope indeed exists, yay, let's hope spring comes sooner, I love this, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Larry, thank you for sharing! May love and light always shine upon you! Love, Noah Eaton "You'll find something that's enough to keep you |

dingusjr, I send this wonderful spirited poem back up again with hopes it will reach you well tonight. Good luck with that attacking G.B.! (I appreciated your response to mine and just wanted you to know that I wish you good health.) I love this poem! Sadie |
