A dream sealed with a kiss |

It was just a little dream she’d stamped with just a kiss That showed me all the happiness that people often miss For though it’s all around us, most only see the foe This little dream gave hope within that everyone should know It showed the wake of morning when the birds began to sing It showed the smile of earthly grace and joy that it would bring It showed just how at self we laugh and why we shake our head It showed how good it was to smile, to live and not be dead I call them little miracles, which help us all survive Which we can give and then receive to make us feel alive The things that money cannot buy, a part that grows within Where caring and then sharing builds foundations to begin We take so much for granted, until it drifts away Not realising just what we had and cherishing the day We sometimes need to take the nudge to make us realise That we’ve been given chances for the better or demise I think the dream a fairytale, just meant for one or two But we might be the chosen who are blessed to live it through This dream stamped with a little kiss, each night I seem to find So there I search the angel who stamped kisses on my mind And each day I remember more and try to live it through Hoping that some others do the same things as I do For life can be so wonderful, just take the doubt away Then you can live within my dream and live it everyday |
