Resisting Writing The Letter

I was going to write a letter
Thought it would be my last
Then I began shedding tears
I kept remembering the past

I was listening to your songs
As my tears once again flow
How could I continue writing
When I hestitate in letting go

Reminiscing long ago days
The thoughts flow to my pen
Will this longing ever cease
I constantly ask myself when

The heartache inside is real
I know that I deserved better
Still I resist saying goodbye
As I held off writing the letter
