I sit here now ashamed and broken,
I didnt know you could say such terrible things,
But my actions have been stupid,
and i guess that i deserved it,
Now all i can do is mend my ways.

You were there with love and devotion,
You told me i saved your life.
That you loved me so much,
and that that would always stay the same,
But now im the one what has changed.

i changed for the worst and aacted so unreal,
You couldn't understand why I'd hide my natural appeal.
But i thought that i had to,
to stay safe and wanted.
But by acting this way i almost lost those who truely wanted "me"

Im sorry for my mistakes,
I can not take them back,
but i can say I've learned from them.
I've learned to do what is truely "me"
and not to take youfor granted.
I've found out that you loved me before i cahnged,
and through all of this you love me still.

Well said! It's wonderful when we meet people who care for us unconditionally. It's sounds like you have met such a person, and appreciate that person. I enjoyed your poem.
