So this is what it's like

to writhe among your own ashes

not quite burnt alive

by my own textured flame

passionate

I hear their voices

that expell grief

with every motion of their tongue

I notice they multiply

in sadness

do goodbyes

the older I become

and they are abundant

whichever way I choose to say it

this time

or that

goodbye

squirms in breeding ritual

boasting of a new beginning

to every end

maybe I was already gone

before this end had begun

with no map

of anyones head.

Solemn nodding here.

About two years ago, when I lost my father, I thought, "dominoes, now"...

I was right, too.

You just wrote a lump in my throat.

this was a bull's eye for me, lady.

Hugs.

Yes I do believe so.

Always a cool write from you GJ

I think I shall keep this one.

i love this...everything about goodbyes, so tragic and so true

joy has its own justice. and dreams are languid and lawless. and everything bows to beauty, when it's fierce and when it's flawless...
