bemoaning our besmirched selves we watch Donnie Darko and are amazed, we read Orwell and are appalled, but self appreciation reveals Lydia. post-it pictures as veiled clues, we each hide behind an inept rouse protecting what would not matter anyhow. extend after inverting the lines, needles through batteries dripping, pink erasers plow through our souls, and other obscure idiocies, i meant idioms, no idiots, none at all. walk backwards during your retreat men – maintain your honour in the face of death, dulce et decorum ... the old lie, write on man! right on! and they fight for our ways and our lives, but illya the recently arrived excommunicate asks: where are the poets? where are the artists? greenwich village rodeo drive X_____X towers uptown there are none out in the streets? or in the shops? No. where are the philosophers? university departments government think tanks dead this is freedom? we do have a place. -majnu |

although i might be clueless,i can't help but find encouragement and inspiration for the artist here.. enjoyed in my own bent way...long may you write on majnu. Live like it's your last day... |

thanks for your comments. midnite: it is quite loud but unfortunately with the voices of shouting heads. they name rooms after compaq and hp now instead of einstein and heisenberg. there seems to be little honesty left, or at least those who are honest are silent. -majnu |
