Too Much Is Left Unsaid

Nothing much changes
He writes occasionally
Explains for his silence
Returns with an apology

I had heard it all before
Yet I happily accepted
It was another apology
The same as I expected

Intended with purpose
My heart to captivate
He knows me too well
Another apology I await

The breaking of silence
Sorry sent to appease
Attempts to keep unity
Apolgies aim to please

Too much is left unsaid
Having so little contact
Aplogising repeatedly
Can only be hiding fact

Hope,
This is so good.  I got to the last stanza, where you stunned me with your words.  I enjoyed.  Writing seems so easy for you.

Quite the summation in poetic language....I'd say it covers a lot of the space that becomes a problem...
Love these lines

"Aplogising repeatedly
Can only be hiding fact"

Good write!

good friend of mine told me once, if it don't come easy let it go...He was right!
You pine away over spilled milk for months, before you know it it's years....and you know something, if it's like that now, if you had him in your life, it would be even worse....so....move on...you deserve much better.

A beautiful write...filled with who you are...a wonderful person who deserves to be appreciated and loved with decency and respect.  Smiles and big hugs sent your way...

You are sweetness personified, dear Hope.
All that apologising could make you weary.
And maybe you could look ahead.
Very beautifully written.
Love and hugs. Margherita

How sad, yet well expressed.
