Could it be that we belong together? Could it be that it's written in the stars? Could it be that we are meant to love forever? Could tenderness remain beneath the scars? I cannot help but wonder what attracts us? You a youth, and me, a gray wolf growing old... Could it be, although there never be a meeting- That our love could be the one of purest gold? Could it be that I'm a rock for you to lean on? Could it be that you are my refreshing stream? Could it be we're counterparts intended- To be the source and substance of a dream? All these questions, and at least a million others- Tantalize my thoughts by night and day. Dare I dream that they're reciprocated? Could it be that you can fathom what I say? |
