I wander sometimes lonely
amongst the mass of humankind.
A flash of red, a dress maybe,
cool shades of creamy beige,
but indistinct and vague
over tense unsettled minds
making deep impressions
where none are meant to be.

A gash, a split, a severing,
of influential energy
fragmenting in the air
and spreading everywhere
like a river overflowing
time honoured boundaries.

Un-harnessed is the power
of a silent thought process
that collectively can manifest
peace and harmony
for the channel once carved
by the force of many hearts
merely carries residue
and lands it at my feet

And the antenna of the free
lie with me in sympathy
for to receive but not endowed
to alter frequencies
or clean a dirty channel
merely engenders fear.

And I wander sometimes lonely
contemplating more
if the force of hidden energy
could perceive a common goal.

I contemplate but know
evolution moves too slow!

Thank you all so much for your kind comments.  Icebox, "life" is a humbling experience in itself and I'm merely a small part thereof.  Yes, Martie, I too wish for peace for everyone but I reckon it will take another couple of ... lifetimes.
