The biggest devil is things dont go away, and what you have seen and done needs to be said.

Climbing over the wire

I sought my girl friend

Stopping  to chat to the 12 year old
Pimping in 5 languages

no shoes but a commercial sense

we joined the girls

mine supporting an extended chinese family

and at Christmas

A Chinese Chief Steward who had been on the Burma Railroad treated us to a drink

When we remember things

Let us remember those we prefer not to and those we abandoned.

Dave

Dave, it's true, some memories are awkward.
You are so right, they should somehow have space in honesty's diary.

Dave you take us on some incredible trips across your very core where memories linger.

Detachment is not easy, but healthy.

By sharing, you release.

Love, Margherita

Thanks

I suppose we all things but some do pall.

How many survived the Burma Railway and what did anyone care afterwards

I was based in an ex-Japanese Execution Camp in Singapore in the early 60s - HMS TERROR - the name is still on my Service Certificate and as my Mother said "I'm like Poverty - I get everywhere".

Being me - I voluteered for the Brothel Patrols (my first Brandy and Ginger supervised by the Master At Arms (his name was actually "Bates") in one place, but memories good and bad have meaning, only when you feel you can understand them.
