I’m happy to make your acquaintance
Oh this symbolic transformation
That smile, four steps beyond me
Absorbing more nutrients
The gestures, turning instances to words
The charm of your mind, drowns in my body
We lived in France immortal of irrational
You are the lightness of being
And the slowness of life in another place
Betraying blindness, and the fall, the fall
To a happy death
With life elsewhere glancing up and about

During a hapless urgency, night summoned
To an almost religion, and saving face
Yet now, pressed against me you are happiest
Distractions and grievances locked away
Still free to move, but not in “our” place!
We…rose to the occasion

By the incredible volume interpreting
A higher state, where beast nor man
May go beyond….heretofore waiting…found
Was our parable, giving concrete vision
X-ray eyes…desirable meanings acting out
To the taste of our own powers…minus kryptonite
You were indeed a class act!
Sophomores of torch flares
Paying attention with half-shut eyes

Blissful knees kept an artistic rose-color
Melting away all signs of hunger
And all obstructing walls egg shelled
How vainly sun glitters
Hammering out its fists to publish another day
Learning to skate, without falling down
Perceptible addition to Paradise
Have we lost our lust of pursuit?
Or merely turned true instinct
With ends of thread trailing after life
Sounds rather like the rustling of wakening leaves
On an oak tree in spring
Looking quit senseless and overwhelmed
Yummy...Tahitian Noni

Lee, you've such a gift. " kryptonite," it's been a while since I've seen that word!

Wow!  Lee J:
This is a great write.  I have never tasted the juice, but if it can make me write like you do, then, I want a gallon or two!  This was very, very nice!  Way to go Lee J.

The title is what grabbed me...lol...you would have to see my yahoo profile (cheekys0d) to understand...

The words are what kept me reading..

"cast me gently into the morning, for the night has been unkind"
~Sarah McLachlan~
