My Thanks

Thank you for these migraines
And meds that make me sick.
Thank you for my steroids
They taste so very ick.

Thank you for my chronic pain
And upchucks day and night.
Thank you for my swollen eyes
Sensitive to light.

Thank you for the damage done
From tension in my jaw.
Thank you for the hell of it
This the final straw.

Thank you Dearest giving Lord
The grace you've shown me of
How delicate the body is
Too breakable to love...

well I know of a few of those aches and pains..you write of them well.

There are times I thank Him also, but then I ask to please give me a break..there is only so much one can take.

Aaaaaw thanks so very much for the responded. And I'm glad that the responses were ones of understanding. See, I posted this on another forum and it seemed to have upset not a few people. They seemed to think that I was an ungrateful person; forgetting that I am so much more than the poems that I write. xoooooooooos...
