There are those Times There are times I am not cool And grumble like a stupid fool It dips me in the deepest marrow The deepest deep of sense of sorrow To hurt a love in senseless roar To bring a tear that hurt me more A tear that burned my heart so hot I near to die upon the spot And though I tried to make amend It will remain until the end A scar upon the inner wall A scar that will remain a maul And though she says she loves me still And I repent and ever will The thought that I had brought a tear Forever lingers in the wear And I in truth will never know The why of stupid I did sew |
