Echoes of wonder Fountains of sin Youth, in all its Exhuberant madness Often time catches up To even the wealthiest of men Lying defenseless In darkened shadows Crying empty tears Of shame and guilt Hoping to regain the vision Of yesterday's dreams Only to find out That tomorrow has come and gone |
