standing on a shadow's lace

Worthy

there has been
a question about
being worthy of love
none of us are worthy
and if we wait it is too late
love is the greatest gift bestowed
freely and without reservation
it is for dreamers walking awake
the sweetest echo of the heart
healing all the deepest scars
making us give without take
willing to risk it all
believes when there are no others
pulls us back from over the edge
the unexplainable favor of forgiveness
carrying us when one inch is too many
a hand when we are over the limit
no there is no being worthy in love
the sheer strength of it stands alone
