Surfaces that twinkle back in laughter Across faces graces sunshine Mime and mirror in the likeness Rising from anticipations loins the moon Seeping through the coursing afternoon Want; in layered compote of sugar and self By friend, what definition is required? Stamped upon the neatly folded corners Sheer, for certain love is waiting here Roped and neatly tied and tidied Braced within the channels as confided The attraction must be permanently clear With so many chasms being here Yet the center to ignite, bearing weight and leaving light Resonance that haunts the joyful soul And yet that separates, antiquates it’s coral call And friend a heartbeat from not clear at all Brought into line this renegade, emotions blind A level down and deeper Where holds your heart Defines the lines Copyright Kkh 3/24/04 |
