At first..Your name appeared to me like Jimmy Page and David Coverdale... So I have thought you were musically related anyway.... I can always hear your poems as songs... ~ARH love and hugs Open your eyes, open your mind, open your heart, let me come in and show you love.....~ARH |

I've been reading you for some time now... your reminiscent thoughts always pleasure my soul, that you honor those that gave to you. |

Walking feet of pavement Smelling friend chicken cooking Managed nuthing the night before Smelt a feeling begin Learned a lot the warmth of this education, streams from your pen, and I feel friends all around you...giving you enthusiasum and understanding.... It is in the core of our being, from then to now, which draws our spirit closer then before...bringing us to a very rare glimpse of what really was and now is. Lovely read David...your writing is an entire meal....Grade A Prime Rib! |

ethome Fair comment It almost seems too easy to just launch into some style and words that look something, so I suppose I am trying not to write using anything that is some kind of standard for me, but just allowing words and images and no I'm not taking anything before anyone asks I was based in Faslane on HMS Maidstone in the early 60s as a 17 year old and escaped to the Church of Scotland Hostel in Helensburgh at the weekends When I heard Mr Cash some years later, sing Sunday Morning coming Down, I felt I had been there. Inside the hostel of course I pumped my money into a Juke box playing My Generation by the Who. iliana I was hauled out of the church assembly for singing because no-one could sound that bad. Even paid to mime in the choir. Spirit is there, I think I can sing but I seem to be on my own there A Romantic Heart I do tend to write them as songs Classic for me was someone who said I had to listen to your poem as rap, before I could understand it inkedgoddess Ink You are probably one of the few people who dance to work Soleil Noir The problem is we all end up eventually as a series of memories Early childhood - someone else's Mad stupidity while we try to prove we are idiots - still on someone elses Unless we get out - we are probably still living someone else's memories and not building our own It is nice to admit to the influences on your life I feel happier doing it Toerag Toerag When did you mean to retire anyway LeeJ Learned a lot Yet someone else would call me a loner who can sit there and just enjoy the company of people. I do have this habit when working away of taking up residence in restaurants I like Tum Nuk Thai Restaurant in Halifax UK, and The Royal in Old Amstelveen in the Netherlands have my recommendation The Tum allowed me to sit a couch until the early hours of the morning talking to people and the Royal used to play small English bowling between the tables. HopeS Hope you ageless Dave |
