If there are poetry police, they will be after you for sure! This was really a brilliant, original poem. |

"I want your mind I want to peel off your skin" OUCH! sorry Brad, it's mine and I'm keepin it, it's served me well so far. But this write reminded me of an incident in college. I had a 'close-minded professor' who suggested I was 'too open-minded' (ie liberal politically) for my own good. I'll quote him: 'Don't be so open-minded that your brains fall out.' I laughed then, and am still laughing at that imagery. So far, all my scans show this brain is doing A-OK. |

"I want your innoscent not yet spoiled virgin pink brains still open to thoughts seducing little minds through poetry filling the with cummings Keats and Elliot til they scream in orgasmic delight I am sure they will find me lock me up for poetic indecency teaching of a minor" Hi Dan!!! The lines above, although, very raw, I loved the thinking behind them... Give me someone who hasn't had their thoughts molded by society or environment...let them read the old favorites...ahhh yes! Great job! "toss me gently into the morning, for the night has been unkind" |

I read this three times and all I can say is that it's very original and the rise and fall through harsh creativity is excellent! Eric |
