But for the Sun The sun is coming the warmth of her rays like open arms penetrate and awaken the cold of my bones restless and shaken I hunger for its touch the chill that has held me captive no longer finds comfort in my marrow Surrending is a welcome release Scavanging for meaning surviving on pellets of sand leaves me in hunger for a better purpose the smile of a new day the heat of compassion and the promise of replenishment causes me to give thanks for the abundance of the little I have.. I have never yearned for the warmth of the sun's healing rays, as much as I do now! I felt every word of this sun-honouring poem of gratitude. Blessings to Father Sun and to you! Warm, sunny hugs 'n smiles, EA Your gratitude for the little things in life will manifest even bigger things in your life! |
