Somewhere... out there...

0 posted 2004-03-23 12:36 PM

drawn upon the water's edge
in lean to reach the other side...
feel the gentle tug of tide
inviting...
liquid haven... hide and
bridge the gap
'tween here and now
this path to nowhere
taunting...tease...
oh how I wish for
cradled keep...
rock me...
gently
rock me
deep within the
water's comfort...
sleep...

no hand to hold
no lullaby in
comfort of the
lunacy
no mercy...
'mercy me'
I pray in
moment of lucidity
and all I see is
fool of 'me'
in mockery of
parody
no compromise of
lenity in
absense of all
levity
in solitary
company
of one

Company of one...can be a good thing...for a little while.  Company of one for too long can certainly breed lunacy...

as usual, our poets bring forth quite awesome stuff out of the bowels of darkness.  But always I wish you happiness, and light my friend.

hugs, g
