In the silvery light of the Elven Moon, glistening dewdrops fell upon Queen Lavinia's glowing locks. Her heart beating at the sight of the stately, unicorn on the ledge. Her hand straying to touch the small, unicorn sleeping by her side. How unlikely that she would love what was so far from any of her thoughts. One Elven night, her sisters and brothers had danced in the magic beams of fairy-dust and unicorn dreams. She had let magic cradle her lithe form when Celestin, the King of the Unicorns, had first entered into her world. He was of the purest white and the strongest of every unicorn. He had come to her in a dream asking for her heart, for her hand. So, in this night of the Elven Moon, she breathed in the essence of unicorn power, unicorn love. Their castle in the midnight-sky beckoning, inviting her to fly home. Her little son sleeping peacefully, blissfully unaware, that Lavinia dreamed large. Dreamed of the pure enchantment to guide him all of his days; and the strength of his father to make him noble, free to pursue all of his dreams. |
