I cry myself a love song
‘Cause it’s prettier than death.
It’s just more beautiful,
And I need beauty, now.

Yesterday you told me
You’d be dying anyway
I wish it was okay,
But what are wishes, really...

I read poems about grieving.
They don’t help, though...

And I’ll miss you
When you’re
gone.

He was a man of sorrows
...I am a girl of tears.

GG -- this really grabbed me.  I always enjoy reading you (I'm way behind with my reading -- you've probably noticed, but am going to try to catch up a little here and there).   ........jo

jo,
thank you I always love reading you and hearing from you, too. This is the first thing I've written for quite awhile, and I'm weeks behind with reading. Life just always seems to have a way to overwhelm us... doesn't it? take care!

Always, Alyssa

Nothing helps in that case and that message is put across very well in this piece.

I understand. Sometimes I plant evergreen seedlings when I get to this.  It's great later to see how they've grown despite...The stores will overwhelm us with hyacinths and daffodils soon.  I buy them, let them wilt and plant the bulbs soon afterward.  And i hit the piano keys in the darkness and let whatever will come out, come out.  Take care.
I'm glad to see you writing.  I'm debating whether or not to continue writing at this time, but if I do, be assured I will read your thoughts and think of you.  If not,
know that you have made an impression upon me.

Sadie,
those sound like good ideas. I'm sixteen, so I imagine I'd have many years to watch the trees grow. I do the same thing with the piano, I'm here alone so there's no one else who has to hear the noise. Mostly, though, I just cry... yeah, I cry alot.

I hope that you do continute writing and posting... I've not been on hardly at all lately, just life in the way, but when I am I love reading you. If not, then know the same thing, you've made an impression on me. But I truly do hope you continue writing... you have alot to share.

Always, Alyssa
