The Scent of Lilac Under a dark moonless sky seemingly going on forever speckled with radiant stars we lay among the flowers watching as a single comet lit up the sky just for us. After pulling you closer I caught a scent of lilac floating soft on the wind reminding me of an age long past a time of southern belles. As we cuddled and kissed emotions and desires whirled and twirled in our very being. Taking us to the edge of a place only lovers go. alan aka Icyheart 03/14/04 |
