It's that time of year again and the inspiration comes in waves...

The Shining Feeling

From where I stand I see the thaw
and on the frozen floor
the sun upon the glowing crust
is glistening bright and pure.

Upon the rolling marbled hills
the glossy snowdrifts ride.
There is no place nor earthly thrill
like springtime greenwood life.

A musty scent is on the air,
I lift my head and breathe.
Out of the sky I seem to hear
a calling on the breeze.

The sound of God and life and wild,
the sound of earth that grows,
out of the wind that whispers by
the sound of trees that moan.

I know just why it is I care,
I bend my head and pray.
I cannot lock them in my heart
these tear drops on my face.

I can't lock away and hide
the smell of musk is on me now--
guilty oils luxurious
and fingerprints of dance step how--

"here" you take a thumb and dare
wipe the sweat and strand of hair
from my face luxurious--
laughing I don't have a care

curtsey cottons dressing down
swooping braving cups abreast--
as I gaze at you from brow
and my fiddle braves the rest...

just a little, doesy-doe.
just the strong arm of your bow
there beneath my chin on strings
arching me to play pretend

Bend me back to womanhood
make my fists find hips defy
as the sweat drips down my chest
and drizzles secrets inner thigh...

teaching you the steps, m'lord.
teaching me to blush again.

missed you eric.

===============

and hope you don't mind?

smile.

I wanted to write one I was sure you understood!

Missed you much.

(and I apologize, too, should I delete? I got a bit carried away with your moment of inspire...)

This is just beautiful and going directly into my library! hugs, Chris
