From my Journals of Endless Winter ~~ I waited for October to bring heavy rains I waited for first drops to fall breaking all silence of shadows whispers I sit on the edge of water- you know right? you do too amidst the dark green the world beyond empty fires If you were to peel the veils of my soul would you be left in wonder- how you belong there you part of who I am With memory and light I gather my loneliness we parted long before we met those moments flicker -- even late in-to night I did not know the wind could scatter petals into the kaleidoscope of color dancing with dragon flies& your whisper I seek your face among the ruined flowers I go often to the edge of seas to ask the moon what she witnessed she sits beside me and tells the story I weep as I listen ~~**~~ Walking with bare feet among a tapestry of words, each woven thread, awakening the soul ~~**~~ |

Why am I always thinking of songs like April Ethereal and The Night and the Silent Water when I read your words (rhetorical question)? Beautifully written and felt. "You sleep in the night yet the night and the silent water still so dark." |
