Did I hurt you, with my indecision, my inconsistent words? It was never my intention Just my confusion Speaking before thinking I wanted to be something I wasn’t for you Now that times are different I have stepped outside myself I am shamed at my part Does this surprise you? You may think I am cold and callous, unmovable and oh so strong But I am capable of seeing where I went wrong |

Nodding here and hugging you. It took me a long time to learn that saying, "I told you when I met you I was crazy" wasn't exactly owning up to my responsibility in the sharing of mistakes. Though I confess, it's hard for me to imagine you being inconsistent of word or guilty of thoughtlessness. love ya Susan! |

I believe what you stated here, Susan. And, you stated it very well! "You sleep in the night yet the night and the silent water still so dark." |

Susan...Tender and touching I wanted to be something I wasn’t for you We all try to change ourselves to please those we love but but it's just a mask hiding our true selves...Paul "To share my poems with you is to share my heart with you" |

A tender write, Susan. You've offered up such a heartfelt piece, one that must have taken swallowing a few lumps to write. Kudos to you, lady. |
