I had to pick the #12 poem in open... and 'A Spring Haiku' was it.

Over frozen fields and icy highways,
Round the treacherous curves of the mountains,
Lacing its way around tired trees,

Groggy creatures stir, life moves
again, deep in the flesh of trees
The air is full; an almost forgotten scent,

Excited, stewards of this planet,
move; like calves in the fields
Hibernation is finished

Spring washes over vast lands,
Wakening
  earth's life.

And Pip's poets can't help themselves -
    to tell the story.

This is very well done. Thank you for taking it.

Never be afraid to try something new. Remember that a lone amateur

Well.... the trees are still bare up here... but I anticipate spring soon... as does my son... He would spin and tow the planet himself to bring the warm days closer if he could... just so he could ride his bike to school...LOL

Well done!!!
