My Thoughts My thoughts are often thrown like dice And land within a soup like spice Creating times of wonderment Of times that were and now are spent Picking up the threads of lace Roses and there place of grace Of heartbeats that were my all Summer winter and the fall Music that I danced in awe Gliding o’er the ballroom floor Full of odors on a glove Full of presence of my love These my moments lived in joy Forever in my redeploys Spirits of a bygone age Phantom still that walk my stage It is the genie of my wand It is the music I respond |

Now, Sy, this is tickling fancy this morning, and a good thing... the sun will soon be out and bid the moon adieu... and I'll bet, I'll just bet... you'll be thinking of working in the garden...or watching someone who does! |

Sy, I am so glad to find your poem at the top. Earlier I was looking for one because I miss responding. I hadn't done a search yet, but had plans to. Things have been so busy here, I hardly find time to write, let alone respond to all the poets who read mine and those poets who I love to read. You don't know how your poetry is treasured. Sadie |
