Between the Lines

I am sorry for who I am,
how I react and introduce my thoughts,
this window of opportunity leaving me slight.
I have been attacked by intimate moments,
disguised in a love that reigns hope
but steals promise, as it guides me
through the darkness of night
while "told you so" echoes
against the walls, challenging.

I slowed down to hurry
and this was as far
as I have gotten.

"Love is not blind - It sees more and not less, but because it sees more, it is willing to see less."
(Will Moss)

they can be dangerous

You are who you are, and no apologies are necessary!  Your poetry needs no apologies!

Maureen - great job.  Don't change a thing about yourself and who you are.                  Ariana
