Have you ever really wondered
Of all the tires that have worn
Where did all the rubber go?
Since Henry Ford was born?

Have you ever gone to eat
And seen bottles large or wimpy
Of Tabasco Hot sauce
(You'll never see one empty).

Have ya ever driven
Around a curve quite blind
And seen a once proud Eagle
Freedom's symbol for all time?

Feathers now are rumpled
Standing in some dirty rut
Hitchhiking back in time
When America meant "US"!!!!

Well... you've just proved you've never been in my kitchen... for those tabasco bottles do get emptied! *G* Of course... there's always a replacement, waiting in line. *S*

Excellent write, my friend... I enjoyed this very much... *S*

Well, I hadn't wondered, but now I will.  But things do move in cycles, Toe.  The hawks came back here last year after they were driven here the year before by the fires in New Mexico. Last year they came on their own, I think they like us! Maybe things can get better!

When I get to the point that I'm wondering where tire rubber for the past 90 years has gone, may someone shoot me.....I'll be like you!!!!

I know where the tire rubber has gone. The wind has carried it all to Pennsylvania and strewn it along the Pa turnpike.
Enjoyed your poem Toe
Take care
