A Fairy Tale A fairy tale is where I wish we dwelt, Where happy endings wished for just appear. And where our troubles soon would simply melt, Disposed of in a river of our tears. In truth no magic stallion waits to ride, No sword exists to vanquish all our foes, Nor mystic spells to sweep our fears aside, Or I would wield them all against our woes. And yet my sweet our love may still dispell, The evils we still battle on our own. Our love can be our fortress just as well, A castle built of love instead of stone. Protected there in comfort safe and warm, We’ll weather all of life’s rampaging storms [This message has been edited by David2 (03-01-2004 10:09 AM).] |

David~ Elegance in every line ... but THIS - 'Our love can be our fortress just as well, A castle built of love instead of stone.' - simply leaped off the page to catch me *sighing*~ *Huglets* ~*Marge*~ ~*When the heart grieves over what it has lost, |
