Ambergris Two Woe to us that only sew The ambergris of what we know Refuse to take the offered hand And drain the sources of the land That won’t covert a future bail And cannot see beyond his tail That takes the treasure with the bones And leaves them under buried stones. Woe to us of vanity The make up of insanity That piles the refuse of abuse And squeezes life of all its juice That does not take and give in turn So all is lost without return That takes the treasure with his bones And leaves them under buried stones. Woe to ye that cannot see The haven of humanity |

That does not take and give in turn So all is lost without return That takes the treasure with his bones And leaves them under buried stones. ~*~ You brought me playfully back to the first time I spied the word ambergris...and a lovely whirlwind of memories it gave...both in scent, and sound. |

Seymour, I've been away for a little while and have missed your writes. This one was of unexpected tone, but very much liked and appreciated. Sometimes, we human beings need a little spanking for our thoughtless actions. Your poem was beautifully written with a powerful message. Sadie |

(big angel hugs) God Bless You, dearest friend, I always wonder if that gift the sperm whale offers the ocean is solely meant for the sea, like it's Her perfume alone and we should be seeking the perfume of the sun! (sigh) This is wonderful, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Seymour, thank you for sharing! May love and light always shine upon you! Love, Noah Eaton "You'll find something that's enough to keep you |
