I spent the day in remembrances until we reached the end and she said "You know what I really want... An Eulogy" as my mind raced forward to its meaning then backwords over substance trying to mask the surprise in my voice and block the pains from being more than just my aching back stabbing at me. And so another promise to fulfill when next we meet, with her words, mixed with mine, maybe in some sort of patterned rhyme. For she said to me she doesn't want to be visited at a graveside, but rather "in the heart". M *some days I need more than the empty house and a scream. "Love is not blind - It sees more and not less, but because it sees more, it is willing to see less." (Will Moss) |
