(In memory of a loving friend and musician to us all, who would have celebrated his 61st birthday Wednesday!) Here Comes The Sun By: Noah Eaton 11/30/01 We were walking down Blue Jay Way It was never too long It feels like years since it has been here everyday Then I saw the sun rise when your guitar sung a song I watch the smiles return to faces, decks of cards shuffle I want to tell you you’ll forever sing within me I remember Crème tangerine and montelimat before every Savoy truffle And I hear your breathe every time your guitar gently weeps There’s something in the way you sing Harmony ascends every pluck of your strings For the farther one travels, the less one knows all so much Your love is always with me… Makes me want to stay in my place in the sun Here comes the sun… Go, Johnny, go, cherish these sweet blues We’ll all be trippin’ over your old brown shoe Sharing all the love you shared with us you knew For it’ll never be the same when we’re in your queue It doesn’t matter what chords you play It doesn’t matter what clothes you wear We all are children of the sun everyday There is nothing love can compare Now take the time, my friends, think for yourself We all have time to rectify, we’re all in good health Go where you’re going to, he says to you Your love is always with us all Makes us want to stay in our place in the sun Here’s come the sun… Sing Here’s come the sun… Praise Here comes the sun… Dream Here comes the sun… Imagine… Spread your word, share your love He speaks for us all, lift your hands high Sing with him, my friends, you can never have enough Reach your hands to the sky And stay, stay, stay, stay in your place in the sun Here comes the sun… Reach for the sun… Reach for the sun… In Memory Of George Harrison "You'll find something that's enough to keep you But if the bright lights don't receive you You should turn yourself around and come back home" MB20 |

Noah ....this was a great poem...about a great musician...i believe when he wrote it in England..he was in the studio recording with the rest of the Beatles..they had been in there for days and George Martin suggested that they take the day off...Goerge was just so pleased to get out in the fresh cold air..and a joy was within him that he wrote Here Comes The Sun...hence the line ''little darlin..it's been a long cold winter....here comes the sun'' etc.. great tribute ... Thank you..... Goldenrose. ''Each soul is potentialy divine..the goal is to manifest that divinity'' |

Wow, you amaze me over and over again. Thank you so much for sharing the feelings with us that you have for musicians. I love music myself and when my grandfather died in august, I listened to just about everything possible. That is one of the reasons I haven't been posting in a long time. Been having a rough life. Thanks for sharing, I really enjoy your beautiful writings. "Death, so called, is a thing which makes men weep, and yet a third of life is passed in sleep." -Lord Byron |
