A love from the past O'ertakes me so fast In it's wake a soul numbing fear That once and again I'll commit the same sin And lose what I hold the most dear Why I let her go, I still do not know Perhaps there's a reason Just wasn't the season For our love to take root and to grow Do I now have the chance To rekindle romance And assuage this pain in my heart This time will I fight Will I do what is right Or will fears always keep us apart Every day I kneel down and pray Lord help me be strong To amend an old wrong Grant me courage to not run away... Sea, I enjoyed reading this. If it's written from personal experience, I sure do hope that things will work out the way you want. Hugs Ethel |
