Past Quicksand every tear you cry I will tenderly touch each just as close as your breath I am within your reach I will be the best friend you have ever had the letters that form words in the blankest pad in your eyes I turn liquid and on you I shall pour when you think I’ve given all I’ll find for you more today and forever right by your side others give you broken promises our bonds are tied you know I know all about quicksand but the only way you drown is without another’s hand |
