Standing In Silence...

Wanting so badly –
For these memories –
To fade away,
But still they linger.
Like a bad habit,
I still think of them,
Wishing I wouldn’t.
And that unanswered question –
Ends each thought –
Why?
Why did all this happen?
Why me?
Why you?
Why now?
Why ever?...

.... and then out of nowhere it feels like the twilight zone. Everything stops and you don't even know what you're questioning anymore. The sun doesn't set right all of a sudden and the stars scream betrayel. That is when you turn around and start a whole new path. Very nice, I enjoyed the idea of unanswered question.
