Several months gone, Swept away by kids and their foolish desires Correct Officer, I love them, more than myself.. Correct Officer, I might just still love her too.. Straining to climb every rung, Each coated in iced oil, There was no going back now, We are too stubborn While fading to black is something the boy wishes for, The Man insists he walk on the side of the building where he just fell... "She might get you again, Or it may be a different wind, But one day you will be joined on that ledge, Not pushed off" So the sun sets, The night follows after, Time passes, Cats land on their feet, Winter, Spring, Summer, Climbing the ladder.. again (And again) |

This is a very well-written piece... lots of great lines... like this... "Straining to climb every rung, Each coated in iced oil, There was no going back now, We are too stubborn" and this... "So the sun sets, The night follows after, Time passes, Cats land on their feet, Winter, Spring, Summer, Climbing the ladder.. again" Very nicely done, Obsolete. I very much enjoyed the read. ~Vicky "When the power of love overcomes the love |
