And she is not quite sure Why she does it to herself again. Isolationism is an art form. A letter full of Past regrets and future hopes Provides fuel for the fire And comes with no response. It seems as though Everyone is looking For something to have faith in A scapegoat for heartache Heaven forbid One of us take the blame. So we look for ways To solve all problems passively But this time I do not think A simple verse will suffice. And I am not quite sure Why I do it to myself again. |

I really love this poem, you did a good job on the title too. I can't pick a favorite stanza or line, they all get the feeling across well and blend perfectly. Thank you for sharing, this is going in my library. W.W. |
