I curled there, afraid to question, but needing to know. You came to me, both threatening and reassuring; I was frightened but intrigued. Tell me more. You put your hand In a place it shouldn’t be: right in my ribcage, against my heart. But you hadn’t hardly said a thing. There was nothing there. I only understood later, not at the time. I said I was frightened of giving myself away. Of not being hidden, mysterious, desirable. You told me that it was not like that, that each was equal, that each knew and understood the other. And suddenly I, too, understood. I knew everything that had ever happened. I placed all the pieces in adjoining rows and marveled at the picture they made. |

Very nicely done! I really enjoyed this! I'm not sure exactly what about it I liked so much but it diffintly captured my attention, well done! ~Live and Laugh~ Because of you I laugh a little harder, smile a little more, and cry a little less |
