Let's Take The Stairs |

You follow her And the tear in the dress Up three flights of stairs And you start to think Life isn't so good anymore. Foreign poisons flow Through your body Not sure you can make it To the staircase's summit And you start to think This hasn't been love for days now. You reach the top But you have already given up The fabric from her dress Lays on the landing And you start to think Everything will fall apart. |

very interesting, very unique, I liked it, kind of sad but an interesting way of viewing things...stairs, just never would have thought of that before. Thats one of the things I love about poetry! thanks for the read. ~Live and Laugh~ Because of you I laugh a little harder, smile a little more, and cry a little less |

Ah, the many thoughts of walking up stairs. Very origonal poem. Tough to express but you did very well. |
