this is the other one i wrote for my cousin nic paper cup sadness your tears have turned to stone making this quiet home a rock quarry. scarlet marks the way around boulders and its slippery when wet, so this is a warning. the stress has you sweating blood that is squeezed from your pores. wringing your hands gets you no closer to sinking quietly into the floors. pulling out your own hair waont age you any quicker than time, just wait for the sky to fall and see what heaven's like to the blind. the first thing you see will be the last thing you remember and your concentration is lapsing so, soon you'll have to surrender. pick up these stones and scrape off all the pain you own. if only it were that simple, if only your time together had grown. but the wooden bed of eternity has been placed below your feet. and rain only adds to the morbidity so fitting for a funeral drowned in the street. voices lost that connect to pictures hung on all the sorrow soaked walls, cry out to you in your sleep and you can only listen deafly to their call. "until deth do us part" those were the words spoken, but you never dreamed it would happen, nightmares kept you from being woken. a bond to tight that even when deth pushes into the unity it drags you closer to itself, and you long for her, wishing to follow her into infinity. now you serve us all your sadness in paper cups at the funeral, we drink deep only to vomit through our eyes and make it integral. deth makes you part, tears open the heart, hurling it apart, and banishing a start. comfort comes to us all eventually...... now im alone, but not lonely like before |
